A flexible part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide services across multiple sites within a K-12 school setting. This role is designed to support students ranging from kindergarten through twelfth grade, offering teletherapy and in-person therapy sessions. The assignment spans the current school year (CSY), providing an opportunity to work approximately two days per week.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language evaluations and therapy to a caseload of 8-10 students.
- Collaborating with educators and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Utilizing teletherapy platforms to support remote service delivery when necessary.
- Maintaining thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy goals as needed to meet developmental and educational objectives.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
- Background in pediatrics and healthcare settings preferred.
- Ability to provide teletherapy services effectively.
- Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multi-site caseloads efficiently.
