A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in school-based services within a K-12 educational setting located in Mescalero, NM. This role offers the opportunity to provide teletherapy and in-person speech-language pathology services focused on pediatric populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students ranging in grade levels to be determined during the interview process.
- Utilize teletherapy techniques effectively to reach students remotely when necessary.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Maintain documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in pediatric and school-based settings.
- Competency and comfort with teletherapy platforms and service delivery.
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
Employment Details:
- Position duration aligned with the current school year calendar.
- Preference for full-time commitment, approximately 37.5 hours per week; part-time consideration may be possible.
