An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services to elementary students in the Kenosha area. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about enhancing student communication skills and are adept at using digital tools for education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the diverse needs of approximately 20 students.
- Provide engaging therapy sessions through virtual platforms, ensuring that each student receives the support necessary for their speech and language development.
- Collaborate with families and school staff to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student advancements in alignment with educational standards.
- Participate in scheduled meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure and ASHA certification.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in a virtual setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and families.
- Proficient in using teletherapy software and tools.
