A full-time teletherapist position is available to support K-12 students in a school-based setting in Texas. This contract role focuses on delivering speech-language pathology services via teletherapy, ensuring continuity of care for students requiring communication support.
Key responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and support staff to promote students’ speech and language development. The teletherapist will utilize their expertise to engage students remotely and track their progress throughout the academic year.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Hold a valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license by the start date
- Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school settings preferred but not mandatory
- Skilled in teletherapy delivery with pediatric populations
- Ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals who will assist as facilitators during sessions
This assignment runs for the complete school year in a K-12 educational environment located in Temple, Texas. The teletherapy modality requires strong communication skills and adaptability to meet diverse student needs remotely. Support will be provided through assigned paraprofessionals to facilitate smooth session delivery.
