Virtual School SLP | New York

A full-time remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide teletherapy services for K-12 students in New York from February 23 through June 20. This 1099 contract position involves delivering therapy and administrative duties for a caseload of 35-40 students, primarily focusing on articulation and language goals. Most students are verbal, allowing for a consistent therapy approach centered on communication enhancement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Provide direct speech therapy sessions through teletherapy platforms
• Manage Medicaid billing and maintain accurate documentation using the Cleartrack program
• Collaborate virtually with educational teams to support student progress

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State SLP license
• TSSLD certification
• Experience with Medicaid billing processes and the Cleartrack program
• Strong background working with K-12 student populations, particularly in articulation and language goal areas

This role requires dedication and effective remote communication skills to ensure students achieve their speech and language milestones. Contract duration is for the current school year period, with a schedule ranging from 30 to 40 hours weekly.
