A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to provide specialized services within a K-12 educational setting in York, AL. This contract role spans the full school year, from August 1 to May 22, delivering support to students through teletherapy and in-person sessions tailored to meet individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, screening, and testing.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service plans aligning with student goals.
- Provide both direct therapy and consultative support utilizing teletherapy and on-site methods.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress notes, and compliance with educational standards.
- Collaborate with educational staff to ensure integrated support strategies.
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license suitable for school-based practice.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience delivering speech-language therapy in school settings, including teletherapy modalities.
- Strong understanding of K-12 educational frameworks and student developmental milestones.
- Ability to work part-time, approximately 10-20 hours per week, during the academic year.
