Speech Therapist in Texico, NM

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Texico, NM, supporting K-12 students throughout the academic year. This contract position involves providing specialized speech and language services within a dynamic school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Deliver targeted therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
• Monitor and document student progress with accuracy and attention to detail
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care
• Engage families in the therapeutic process, providing education and support

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in NM
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
