Speech Language Pathologist in Texico, NM

A K-12 school in Texico, NM is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position lasting the full school year. This role focuses on serving school-aged children under the framework of a comprehensive speech-language pathology program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed evaluations of students with speech and language disorders to identify needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
• Provide targeted therapy sessions addressing speech and language development
• Monitor and record progress meticulously for reporting and ongoing care adjustments
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support for each student
• Engage families by educating and involving them in the therapy process

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Mexico
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
