This opportunity is a contract position for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Tiffin, OH. The role involves full-time and part-time assignments spanning the 2023-2024 school year, tailored around leave coverage schedules. Flexibility and adaptability to varying caseloads and service delivery methods are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders.
  • Manage and treat caseloads across different parts of the school year, including full-time coverage during maternity and medical leaves, and part-time services later in the year.
  • Provide services through in-person and teletherapy modalities as required.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
  • Adapt to potential changes in caseloads, including managing up to three different caseloads throughout the school year.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy and healthcare settings preferred.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy delivery methods.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience.
  • Background in school-based speech therapy is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads and adjust to changing schedules.

Location: Tiffin, OH
Schedule and Duration:

  • September 1 to Thanksgiving break: Full-time (Maternity leave coverage)
  • Thanksgiving break to end of January: Full-time (Medical leave coverage)
  • End of January to end of school year: Part-time (15 hours/week)
