A part-time opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide services within a K-12 school setting. This contract position offers approximately 10 hours per week during the current school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Open to Speech-Language Pathology Clinicians in Fellowship (SLP-CF) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
- Experience working with children in a K-12 educational environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals
Location: Trenton, Missouri
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services tailored to students’ individual education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress
- Develop and implement treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies
