A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Trenton, ND, serving a K-12 school setting with a primary focus on elementary and some early childhood students. This contract role runs from September 2025 through June 2026 during the traditional school year.

In this role, you will manage a caseload of approximately 28 students, providing comprehensive speech and language support. Your responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, delivering direct therapy sessions, and collaborating closely with educators and families. Active participation in IEP meetings and monitoring student progress to adjust interventions are key components of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech and language assessments and design tailored therapy programs
  • Provide one-on-one and small group therapy for K-12 students, primarily elementary level
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement accommodations and modifications
  • Monitor and document student progress, revising interventions as needed
  • Participate actively in IEP development meetings to support goal setting
  • Offer guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to support student growth

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and educational regulations
