A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in an elementary school located in Trenton, NJ. This full-time contract role focuses on supporting an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) population, providing therapy to approximately 5-8 students. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with a contract duration from ASAP through June 23, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students with ASD
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on students' communication needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school and district guidelines and policies

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) experience
  • Prior work experience providing speech and language therapy services in school settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of intervention techniques tailored to children with ASD
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
