A K-12 school in Troy, OH is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support to students throughout the academic year. Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational guidelines
- Participate in meetings and assist with individualized education program (IEP) development
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC)
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage students and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of educational speech and language standards and relevant regulations
- Flexibility to work either full-time or part-time during the normal school year (NSY)
