Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator Certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited college or university.
- A minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience in special education or related services.
- ASHA Certification and ABSESPA Licensure.
Location:
- Trussville, AL
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students’ overall development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by regulations.
- Deliver services in a variety of settings, including preschool, elementary, middle, and high schools.
