This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in a school setting. The position involves working approximately six hours per day at multiple possible locations within the area, depending on caseload assignments. This role offers a contract through the current school year, from ASAP through May 29, 2026, with breaks observed during Winter and Spring holidays.
Location:
- Based in Turlock, CA, with potential assignments across various sites to meet the needs of student caseloads.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Follow established caseload standards to manage individualized student plans effectively.
- Adapt schedule and services according to site-specific hours, typically running from about 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Collaborate with educational teams to assess, plan, and document therapeutic interventions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress reporting.
Qualifications:
- Licensed or credentialed as an SLP or qualified as an SLPA with experience in school-based therapy.
- Familiarity with K-12 educational settings and student populations.
- Ability to manage varying caseloads and shift between different school sites as needed.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, generally centered within the typical school day schedule.
