This contract position runs for the current school year (CSY) and involves providing comprehensive speech-language services to a manageable caseload of 20–35 students. The role emphasizes collaboration with educators, staff, and families to support student communication development through assessment and therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
  • Deliver individualized therapy services based on assessment results.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor personalized student goals.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with school and state guidelines.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Illinois SLP license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
  • Prior experience in school-based speech therapy preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong communication abilities.
