Job Type Contract

A full-time contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with valid CCC and School Certification to support a K-12 educational setting serving approximately 40 students. The role is based in Union Springs, AL, with a focus on K-8 students and a daycare program. Flexibility for a 3 to 4-day work schedule is considered. The contract spans the full school year, beginning on August 7.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations and evidence-based therapy services to K-8 students and daycare children with speech and language challenges.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school district and state guidelines.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultation as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Valid school-based SLP certification.
  • Experience working with K-8 students and early childhood populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
