A full-time position is available to provide speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting in Urbana, Illinois. This contract role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive assessment and therapy to a manageable caseload of students, supporting their communication development and educational success throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough initial speech and language assessments for students.
  • Provide individualized, evidence-based therapy sessions tailored to student needs.
  • Develop and implement student-specific goals based on assessment data.
  • Maintain detailed and compliant documentation adhering to school and state regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license and certification.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is required.
  • Experience working in school-based settings is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate professionally with diverse stakeholders.

Additional Details:

  • Full-time contract covering the current school year.
  • Caseload ranging from 20 to 35 students.
