A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for an elementary school in Vallejo, CA. This is a contract position covering a maternity leave from September 8, 2025, through March 2, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students according to individual education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working in an educational setting with elementary-aged children preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and effective intervention strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
