An opportunity has arisen for a skilled professional to provide essential speech therapy in an engaging elementary school setting. This role focuses on supporting students from Pre-K through fifth grade, addressing a variety of speech and language needs with an emphasis on articulation.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus
- Ability to explain evaluation results clearly to parents and staff
- Strong background in maintaining student confidentiality and professionalism
Location:
- Valley, AL, serving one elementary school campus
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for students
- Provide direct services to students facing articulation challenges
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support each student’s individual needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
