Speech Pathology - Van Nuys, CA

A K-12 educational institution in Van Nuys, CA is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support their students during the upcoming contract school year. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to provide essential speech therapy services to help children achieve their communication goals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group speech-language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels.
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Manage a caseload averaging approximately 45 students.
• Adjust therapy hours based on school scheduling needs, with a weekly commitment of 30-35 hours.

Qualifications:

• Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Licensed or certified Speech-Language Pathologist with school-based experience.
• Familiarity with K-12 educational settings.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a high caseload efficiently and effectively.

Location & Schedule:

• Van Nuys, California.
• Contract duration from March 2026 through June 4, 2026.
• Hours to be determined, approximately 30-35 hours per week.
