Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist, holding a valid state license from the Washington State Department of Health (DOH).
  • Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate in Communication Disorders.
  • Experience working in K-12 school settings, demonstrating effective strategies for diverse student needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educational staff and parents.
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services and progress monitoring in accordance with IEPs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and necessary interventions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
