Speech and Language Pathologist in Virginia Beach, VA

This opportunity seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time, on-site support at an elementary school in the Virginia Beach area. The position will cover a maternity leave and is contracted from late September to mid-December, offering consistent hours five days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students
• Collaborate with educators and staff to support students’ communication goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district standards
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist required
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work full-time on-site (37.5 hours per week)
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Location:

• On-site at an elementary school in the Chesapeake, VA area (Virginia Beach vicinity)
• Approximately September 25 to December 18, 2025
