Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Texas licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in school settings highly valued
  • Proficiency with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Experience in healthcare and pediatrics, including teletherapy modalities
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
  • SLPA credentials with school or healthcare experience are relevant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric and school-age clients
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs
  • Collaborate effectively with caregivers, families, and multidisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathology assistants
  • Monitor patient progress and maintain detailed, accurate documentation and records
  • Deliver services primarily on-site, with teletherapy as appropriate
