A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving an elementary school setting in Waltham, MA. This role focuses on providing speech and language therapy services throughout the current school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ educational goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students’ communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working as a School-Based SLP, preferably with elementary students.
  • Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and legal requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in Massachusetts.
