A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving an elementary school setting in Waltham, MA. This role focuses on providing speech and language therapy services throughout the current school year (CSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students’ communication skills.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working as a School-Based SLP, preferably with elementary students.
- Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and legal requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in Massachusetts.
