A position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment in Warden, Washington. This contract role spans the entire school year, providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grades to identify communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and compliance with school policies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student goals and progress.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working within a school setting, ideally with K-12 populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
