This contract position is located in Rochester, MI, where candidates will play a crucial role in enhancing students' communication skills and addressing a variety of speech and language needs.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in educational settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students’ communication goals
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide insights on student needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
  • Educate and support families regarding speech and language development and disorders
