A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a middle school setting serving students up to 8th grade. This full-semester contract role offers an opportunity to work with a diverse caseload in a structured educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 55 students.
- Manage and evaluate pending referrals in collaboration with educational staff.
- Maintain detailed records and complete necessary paperwork during the last hour of the workday.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Potential to coordinate with a part-time SLP to ensure comprehensive services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred.
- Experience working with middle school-aged children up to 8th grade.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a full caseload effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM.
- The final hour typically reserved for student release and documentation.
- Located in Warren, Michigan.
