A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school located in Washington Navy Yard, DC. This contract role spans the current school year and offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive speech-language services within a dynamic educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse student caseload.
  • Manage a mixed caseload encompassing a variety of speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational and professional standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP certification with current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
  • Proficiency in bilingual language services is required, supporting students who are English language learners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, families, and school staff.
  • Ability to work on-site for the duration of the contract.
