A K-12 school in Wasilla, AK is seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time contract position during the current school year (CSY). This onsite role requires Alaska certification and offers placement within an educational setting supporting students from elementary through high school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to an assigned caseload averaging 47 students across approximately two elementary schools
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention strategies enhancing student communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Current Alaska licensure and certification as an SLP or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Experience working within K-12 educational environments preferred
  • Ability to work onsite full-time (40 hours per week, 8.5 hours daily with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
