A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Waynesboro, VA. This contract position spans the current school year with a start date immediately and concludes on June 1, 2026. The role offers a structured schedule, starting each day at 7:40 AM and ending at 8:00 AM, serving a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students across multiple age groups including Pre-K through 5th grade, as well as 9th through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to implement effective speech-language interventions.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary to support communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations.
