A K-12 school in West Bloomfield, MI is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position running from January through the end of the school year. This opportunity is ideal for an SLP who is passionate about working in an educational setting and providing support to students across a wide range of grades.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to monitor student progress.
- Provide direct therapy services to students based on their specific communication needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) certification.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable; candidates with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred.
- Ability to work with students across multiple grade levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work part-time or full-time based on school needs.
