Apply NowLocated in Philadelphia, PA, this full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers an opportunity to serve a diverse K-12 student population. The role covers the remainder of the current school year through June 16, 2026. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., managing a caseload of approximately 40 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluation, therapy, and progress reporting for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to support student success
- Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices as required
- Engage with culturally diverse student populations effectively
Desired Qualifications:
- PDE Certified Speech Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist credential
- PA Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow)
- Valid clearances including Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114
- Experience working with students diagnosed with autism, emotional disturbance, and intellectual disabilities is preferred
- Familiarity with AAC devices and culturally diverse populations strongly preferred
