This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services within a K-12 educational setting in West Chester, PA. The contract spans a full semester, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication development during this period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 8.5 hours per week of direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students.
  • Provide indirect services, including assessment, planning, and documentation to support student progress.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines.
  • Participate in meetings related to student progress and therapy goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license, with eligibility to practice in Maryland preferred.
  • Experience in school-based speech-language pathology settings, specifically with K-12 populations.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders as related to educational environments.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to provide both onsite services and flexible support through virtual platforms.
