Pediatric School Speech Pathology | West Columbia, South Carolina

A temporary opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide coverage for a maternity leave at an elementary school in West Columbia, SC. This contract position spans from March 17, 2026, through May 11, 2026, with a possibility of extension until May 26, 2026.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students
• Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
• Collaborating with educators and other professionals to support student progress
• Providing therapy in compliance with relevant regulations and best practices

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid SLP certification (CCC) or SLPA certification as applicable
• Experience working with pediatric and school populations
• Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery is beneficial
• Current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also encouraged to apply
• Ability to work effectively within a school setting

This contracted role is designed to offer immediate support during a maternity leave, with the client prepared to begin the interview process and extend offers promptly.
