Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy
- Familiarity with speech-language assessment and intervention in school settings
- Previous work in healthcare settings is a plus
- Ability to collaborate with educational staff and families to support student needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Location: Calera, AL
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Facilitate communication between students, parents, and educational staff
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
