A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Williamsburg, VA. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY) and offers an opportunity to apply expertise in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students across K-12 grades
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans according to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress
- Provide direct therapy services to enhance communication skills in students
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports
- Utilize teletherapy methods when appropriate to ensure continuity of care
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification as Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials
- Experience working in school settings (K-12) or related pediatric healthcare environments
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and remote therapy delivery
- Eligibility to provide clinical fellowship year (CFY) supervision or experience completing CFY
- Knowledge and ability to collaborate with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) in school and healthcare contexts
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
