A full-semester Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Williamsburg, VA, serving a K-12 school setting. This contract-to-hire role requires a dedicated professional with a valid SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support students with mild to moderate communication needs. The position starts immediately and continues through the end of the school year.
Key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders within the school environment. The SLP will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aimed at improving student communication skills. This role requires delivering services both onsite and remotely to accommodate a flexible schedule.
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (SLP-CCC) is required.
- Experience providing speech and language therapy to children with mild to moderate communication challenges.
- Ability to work effectively within a school-based multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Schedule and Location:
- Based in Williamsburg, VA.
- Full-semester commitment, starting ASAP through the end of the school year.
- Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote.
- Caseload primarily consists of mild to moderate cases.
