In this role, you will be integral in fostering the communication skills essential for student success. Working within a dynamic educational environment, you will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for middle and high school students facing speech and language challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to create a supportive learning atmosphere.
  • Provide direct therapy services in one-on-one and group settings.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as required.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing to multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Deliver professional development resources to staff on speech and language topics.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Pennsylvania state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of professionals.

This position is located in Philadelphia, PA, and offers a full-time schedule for the 2025-2026 school year, working across two locations with guaranteed hours.
