In this role, you will be integral in fostering the communication skills essential for student success. Working within a dynamic educational environment, you will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for middle and high school students facing speech and language challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to create a supportive learning atmosphere.
- Provide direct therapy services in one-on-one and group settings.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as required.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing to multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Deliver professional development resources to staff on speech and language topics.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Pennsylvania state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of professionals.
This position is located in Philadelphia, PA, and offers a full-time schedule for the 2025-2026 school year, working across two locations with guaranteed hours.
