This contract position offers an opportunity to provide onsite speech-language pathology services within an elementary and high school setting, starting January 5, 2026, through April 2026. The role primarily involves supporting an elementary caseload with approximately 10 high school students included.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students in both elementary and high school environments.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Document progress and maintain compliant therapy records.
- Adapt services to meet the diverse communication needs of students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Virginia SLP License required.
- Experience working as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist preferred.
- Familiarity with handling a mixed caseload covering elementary and high school levels.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Schedule and Work Details:
- Location: Winchester, VA.
- Work Hours: 7.5 hours daily with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, totaling 35 hours per week.
- Employment Type: Leave replacement contract.
