An engaging opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. The position is based in Chester, VT, for the upcoming school year and may offer flexibility in work hours.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual students.
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student achievement.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress.
- Support a caseload of approximately 50 students across various grade levels.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active or pending Vermont SLP license, with the ability to apply for one.
- ASHA certification is a plus, though Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
