Speech-Language Pathologist in Winnfield, LA

A full-semester Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting located in Winnfield, Louisiana. This contract position offers a full-time workload, serving an elementary to middle school caseload, beginning immediately and continuing through May 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
• Collaborate with school staff to implement Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies
• Maintain accurate Medicaid billing documentation in compliance with requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification: Speech-Language Pathologist holding CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• Experience working with elementary and middle school students in a school setting
• Ability to manage a full-time caseload efficiently and independently

Location and Schedule Details:

• Position is located in Winnfield, Louisiana, near Natchitoches, situated between Shreveport and Alexandria
• Full-time commitment, 37.5-40 hours per week
• In-person role; virtual work is not feasible due to limited internet connectivity and absence of a facilitator on site
• No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be provided, requiring the candidate to perform all therapy services directly
