A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Providence, RI, serving K-12 students through a hybrid work model. This contract position offers the flexibility of part-time or full-time hours, accommodating varying caseloads based on student needs.

Location:

  • Providence, Rhode Island (Providence Public School District)

Duration:

  • ASAP start through June 16, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders within the school setting
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Relevant state licensure according to Rhode Island requirements
  • Experience working with school-aged children (K-12)
  • Ability and preference to provide in-person services with some hybrid flexibility
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and collaborate with school staff
