A school district in Yelm, WA is seeking two licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide in-person support to students across K-12 settings for the current school year. These positions will replace current remote contractors and offer an opportunity to engage directly with students in a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in both elementary (grades K-6) and secondary (grades 7-12) school settings.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain clear communication with families and school personnel to promote student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred.
  • Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school buildings, including one elementary campus and one secondary campus located approximately 3 miles and 0.5 miles apart respectively.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing services on-site; this is an in-person only role.

Additional Details:

  • Full-time contract positions for the current school year.
  • Approximately 37.5 hours per week with pre-established schedules that may be modified to meet specific needs.
  • Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $50 to $60 based on experience and qualifications.
