A dynamic opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist ready to make a significant impact in a K-12 school setting. This contract position is based in Warren, OH, and spans the school year, offering a chance to enhance the lives of students with speech and language disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions focused on student goals.
- Monitor and document progress meticulously for each student.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Involve and educate families in the therapy process to support student development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Preferably hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
