A school district in Ypsilanti, MI is seeking full-time Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a collaborative team supporting K-12 students. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse caseload in a supportive educational environment throughout the school year.
Position Details:
- 2-4 openings (SLPs and Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are encouraged to apply)
- Part-time schedule: approximately 3.75 hours per day, totaling 18.75 hours per week
- Work directly with students across kindergarten through 12th grade
- Contract duration aligned with the school year
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan SLP license required
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Prior school-based experience preferred but not mandatory
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome; supervision will be provided as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
