A full school year Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to support students in a K-12 educational setting in Yulee, FL. This contract position spans the entire school year, providing comprehensive speech and language services aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments to diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Documenting progress and participating in IEP meetings
- Utilizing evidence-based therapy techniques appropriate for diverse age groups from kindergarten through grade 12
Qualifications:
- Valid State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain accurate documentation
