This full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position supports a K-12 educational setting for the 2025-2026 school year on a contract basis. Located in Benicia, CA, this role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population across various grade levels, contributing directly to students' speech and language development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists in implementing individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver speech and language support services to students with a range of communicative needs
  • Monitor and document student progress in accordance with therapy goals
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to create cohesive support strategies
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and school policies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a school environment with K-12 students
  • Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders
  • Ability to manage a caseload that varies in size and complexity
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork spirit
  • Relevant SLPA certification or licensure as required by the state
