We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students. This contract position is set in a supportive K-12 educational environment located in Bridgton, ME, where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse student population addressing various speech and language disorders.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification
- Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy for disorders such as speech sound, language delays, fluency, and social communication
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to create comprehensive support strategies
