This position is for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting K-12 students across multiple school sites within a contract lasting the school year. The role requires onsite work in Clovis, NM, with the possibility of traveling between buildings during the workday.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) from an SLPA program
  • Active SLPA certification
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, particularly in high-stress or crisis situations
  • Ability to provide direct and indirect services aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Willingness and capability to travel during the day between school locations as needed
  • Onsite presence is mandatory; virtual options are not available

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language assistance to students according to IEP guidelines
  • Collaborate with staff, students, and parents effectively during various situations, including high-pressure circumstances
  • Provide indirect services that support student speech-language goals
  • Manage services across multiple school buildings, ensuring consistent and quality care
